Lady Royals split final Paw Print games as Dominy has big day.

BCHS wrapped up their yearly visit to the Paw Print Classic with two more games. The first was against another former region opponent, Crawford County.

Tori Long gets to a ball in right field.


Landa Dominy's three-run home run was part of a six-run bottom of the first. Crawford scored their second of the game on a bases loaded walk in the third. Bleckley answered with three more to win 9-2. Dominy went 2 for 2 with 3 RBI. Bailey Odom was 2 for 2 with a double. Abbey Sims went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Tori Long and Emily Sanders both went 1 for 2.

Dominy struck again in the top of the first against Spalding High School with another three-run shot. The Lady Jags though answered with four. Dominy hit a solo shot in the third but BC couldn't score after loading the bases with one out Spalding scored two in the home half.

A two on, two out, opportunity in the fourth also produced no runs as Bleckley lost 6-4. Dominy went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI. Jordan Williams went 2 for 3 with a double. The Lady Royals will host Hawkinsville in a scrimmage July 27 at 5 pm.
