Dr. Ken L. Fincher will be joining Middle Georgia State University as Vice President of University Advancement and serve as director of the Middle Georgia State Foundation. He comes from Washington State University Tri-Cities where he served as Assistant Vice chancellor for Advancement and Community Engagement
According to a release, Fincher will oversee university operations financial resource development, community engagement and alumni relations. He holds a doctorate in Psychology from the University of the Rockies, a master's in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary's University and a bachelor's in Social Science from Shorter University.
University President Dr. Christopher Blake said in a statement "Ken Fincher has a wealth of experience in philanthropic leadership and in strengthening organizations by building relationships and resources." He added "We are thrilled to add him to the Middle Georgia State team."
Fincher is originally from LaGrange, Georgia.
