Several sports hosting summer camps for kids.

One of the biggest challenges for parents during the summer is to find ways of keeping their children occupied. If you have a child who's into sports however, there are options available.

Several groups will be holding camps this summer. Still ongoing is registration for the Second Annual Future Royals Football Camp June 5-7 from 9 am-noon. For children ages 7-14, cost is $35. Participants will receive a T-Shirt.
Call the Cochran-Bleckley Recreation Department, (478)934-3225, for more information. Deadline to register is June 1.

The rec. department is also co-sponsoring a Future Lady Royals Fastpitch Camp for players ages 7-14. It's also from 9 am-noon, cost of $35. Registration is due June 20, with the camp June 25-27. Participants will receive a T-Shirt. Call the rec. department for more information.

Middle Georgia State University is hosting soccer summer camps for both 4-8, as well as 9-13 year old's. Dates are June 11-15 at NeSmith Stadium in Cochran. Times are 9 am-noon for ages 4-8, 5:30-8:30 pm for 9-13. Cost is $50 per player. Email Marissa Parker, marissa.parker@mga.edu, for more information.

Registration is also ongoing for the Royals Boys Basketball Instructional Camp. For players in Kindergarten through eighth grade, cost is $40 by June 8, $50 after. Cost includes T-Shirt. Camp dates are July 9-11. Registration forms are available in the forms section. Call Garrett Collins, (478)230-8264, for more information.
