It was an early morning for the Lady Royals as they had 9:30 and 11:30 games at the Watermelon Classic. Against Bainbridge, BCHS had just two hits in losing 7-2. The offense though would awaken in their final game against Peach County.

Leading 5-1 after one inning, Abbey Sims’ solo homer capped a four-run top of the second. Though Peach got two in the third, RBI hits by Riley Edge and Landa Dominy were part of a three-run fourth. BC went on to win 12-3. Dominy finished 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Edge went 2 for with 2 RBI. Sims was 1 for 2.

Caroline Thrower went 2 for 3 with a double. E’Lisia Vickers was 1 for 2 with a two-run single. Regan Wimberly went 1 for 2. The Lady Royals play at Wilcox County August 20. JV at 4 pm with varsity to follow.
