Jalexia Taylor goes in for two.

Though Saturday night’s sweep of Hawkinsville didn’t help either the Lady Royals and Royals in the region standings, it did accomplish something. Both teams were able to end what was a rough week on a good note.

Millie Hulsey scored on this shot.

Jalexia Taylor and Ter’Nazia Elvine had a combined 26 first half points as the Lady Royals led 36-11. BCHS cruised to victory 56-21. Taylor finished with 22 points, Elvine had 16 points.

DuBois and Friends and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church were Saturday night's game sponsors. Pictured with boys head coach Garrett Collins is Mt. Calvary pastor Dr. Lane Collins.

A 13-2 second quarter gave the Royals a 15-8 halftime lead. Still leading by eight going to the fourth, BC closed 21-2 to win 44-17. Kam Everett had 17 points.

Ke'Shun Butler is bodied on this jumper attempt.

BCHS travels to Washington County January 11 at 6 pm.
