Why I'm staying local this week.

As I'm sure you're all well aware, gas prices are high. It cost me $41 tonight to fill my tank up. On top of that, I'll likely be absorbing a $90 loss this month for something that all I can say is not my fault.

Plus there are things at home that need taking care of. I don't have money from the farm sale, hopefully in February. But even when I do, I won't be able to directly access it. It will allow me to pay more bills easier, but I won't be able to withdraw from it directly.

It's for these reasons why this week is going be focused on local area. Local content, local meetings, trying to keep from having to drive too far.

Please know that I will always try to ensure there are scores from all sports. It's just with the way things are, I need to stay local this week. But know that my commitment to trying to keep you informed of all happenings, whether I'm there or not, remains my goal.

Thanks for your continued readership and support.
