BCMS closed out their track season by traveling to state April 20-21 at Parkview High School. Though only two athletes finished in the top eight in their events, several school records were broken.
Girls: Katie Burton cleared 6'7" i pole vault
Savannah Pryror: threw 89'8" in discus
Savannah Pryor (with 8.8 pound shot put): threw 31' 2 1/2 in shot put.
Ellen Powell: finished with a time of 12:13.92 in the 3200 meter run.
Alexis Ligon: finished with a time of 56.35 in the 300 meter hurdles.
Boys: Ladarrick Vickers: finished with a time of 47.66 in the 300 meter hurdles.
Logan Bridges: finished with a time of 5:17.31 in the 1600 meter run.
Anju Patel: finished with a time of 11:22.44 in the 3200 meter run.
Aaron Miller, LaDarrick Vickers, Logan Bridges, Anuj Patel: finished with a time of 4:04.78 in the 4x400 meter relay.
Aaron Miller, Anuj Patel, Logan Bridges, Taylor Harrell: finished with a time of 9:55.34 in the 4x800 meter relay.
