Despite a loss to Lamar County, BCHS remains in good shape to win 4-AA thanks to sweeping other opponents. The only other team with one region loss, Taylor County, visited Cochran Wednesday.

Leading on a two-run error in the first, the Vikings got on the board in the second. The offense would struggle in the next four innings, having a runner caught stealing at second and hitting into a pair of double plays. Austin Williams worked out of jams such as a bases loaded, two out, situation in the fifth.
