Bleckley Elementary students will be honored at the annual RESA Math and Writing Awards Banquet on April 29th in Dublin. BCES students receiving RESA awards are:
Young Georgia Author Awards:
Carrie Gilbert, 5th Grade State Winner; and Juliet Cairney, 4th Grade District Winner (This award is recognizing YGA contestants for the 2013 school year.)
RESA Writing Awards:
Emily Arnold, first place; Joshua Gilbert, first place; Lydia Belflower, 2nd place; Evan Danner, fourth place; Juliet Cairney, first place; Dominic Sasser, 1st place.
RESA Math Team Awards:
Third Grade Math Team: Emily Arnold, Joshua Gilbert, Caleb Senters, James Fordham and Ashlynne Corbin, third place
Fourth Grade Math Team: MiShayla Brown, J.R. Fordham, Caleb Hill, Jewell Allen, and Tanner Filion, third place
Fifhth Grade Math Team: Caden Maxwell, Jacob Johnson, Lee Huckaby, Juliet Cairney, and Dominic Sasser, second place
Highest Scoring Team Member: Ashlynne Corbin, Tanner Filion, and Dominic Sasser
School Level Award: BCES 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Math Teams, second place Highest Percentage Correct in RESA
