Being a tea party, of course there were refreshments.

Cochran's community house has hosted dances, wedding receptions, a variety of events. Saturday afternoon, it was transformed to a world of color and crowns.

Princesses with a Purpose held their second annual Mother's Day Tea Party at the community house. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, along with bright-eyed little girls (as well as a boy) came to see the portrayl of colorrful characters like Ariel, Jasmine, Elsa, Rapunzel, as well as Peter Pan and Spider Man.

Princesses worked the room, taking pictures, signing small autograph pads provided, as and of course giving out lots of hugs. Many of the moms in attendance would kneel on the floor so they could be in the pictures.

Sometimes a princess to princess chat was in order.

There was entertainment including songs from the princesses as well as a most unique telling of Little Red Riding Hood. Even after a group picture, many ventured back in for final photos and hugs with their favorites.

Did the kids have a good time? One was asked if this was the best day ever, she nodded yes. For the PWAP cast, that meant this year's tea party was indeed a success.

Music selections included "A Whole New World" from Aladdin.

The chase is on during a telling of Litte Red Riding Hood.
