Lady Royals get walkoff win versus Crawford County.

Region play continued at home Thursday afternoon versus Crawford County. The Lady Royals lost an opening playoff series to Crawford 2-1 last spring.

Two-out doubles by Hannah Coulter in the second and Jordan Williams in the fourth gave BC a 2-0 lead. Holly Tedders' bunt single in the fifth scored Aliyah Whitehead making it 3-0.

A two-run home run got the Lady Eagles on the board in the sixth. They got a one-out single in the seventh and tied the game with two outs. Crawford took the lead on an unearned run in the eight. Chelsea Brady reached on a bunt single to lead off the home half. Taylor Dykes (the last batted out) moved to third.

Allie Keel followed with a bunt, scoring Dykes. A throwing error allowed Brady to come home with the game-winning run 5-4. Williams was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI.

Bleckley plays at Dodge County Tuesday. Game time is 5 pm.
