Region play resumed for BCHS Thursday as they traveled to Lamar County. With a win, the Lady Royals would move closer to securing a top seed for the region playoffs.

Faith Harris scores in the sixth inning.

Three Lamar errors contributed to a five-run third inning for Bleckley. They sent ten to the plate. Up 5-1 in the fifth, a two on, one out opportunity produced no runs. Faith Harris scored on a passed ball in the sixth and Aliyah Whitehead had a seventh inning RBI double.

Three by the Lady Trojans in the home half made it close but BC held on 7-4. Dykes was 2 for 3 with a two-run double. Harris was 2 for 5 with 1 RBI. Whithead went 1 for 2.

Jordan Williams sets to throw from short.
