Georgia State Championship Races were held Saturday night at Cochran Motor Speedway. State Representative Bubber Epps served as Grand Marshall and was presented with a plaque by CMS owner Chris Martin for all he'd done for District 144.

Epps and Late Model Trophy Sponsor Graham Slater of Dublin-Ford-Lincoln-Mercury gave the command "Gentlemen Start Your Engines."

Results are as follows. Late Model Trophy division: Will Herrington started from the pole position, then led flag-to-flag to earn his first State Championship Race. Ben Faircloth of Swainsboro placed second. Kyle Bridges of Moultrie was third, Blake Smith of Dublin finished fourth.
Jimmy Sharp, Sr. of Vidalia rounded out the top five.

In the Hookers Recovery Bomber exciting finish, Josh Herringdine was the winner, followed by Kip Poole. Tyler Sanders of Dublin, Eli Evans and Brandon McCarra of Hawkinsville, as well as Bubba Howell of Danville won the Pure Stock main event. They were followed by Danny Rycroft, Will Thompson, Gator Berryhill and Jason Price all of Cochran.

Super Street: Justin Sapp of Cochran, took the checkered flag, followed by Dustin Miller of Cochran, Russell Brown of Valdosta, Kyle Conyer of Cochran, and Tyler Brown-Monroe.
Brown won the Sportsman Main Event. He was followed by Cole Exum of Valdosta, Monte Vaughn of Lizella, Cameron Hall of Hawkinsville, and Ridge Warren of Chester.

CMS will have "The Gobbler 100" November 27-29. Check for updates at www.cochranspeedway.com
