Smoke is readied as the Royals prepare to take the field.

Though they'll be on the road come playoff time, the Royals still wanted to finish third. Friday, Bleckley tried to avoid any Halloween tricks playing at a chilly Thompson Stadium versus Northeast.

Tije'a Randall dives ahead.

The Raiders struck early on a 49-yard halfback pass. With less than two minutes gone, it was 7-0 Northeast. BC started their second possession on Northeast's 37. Cody Evans 26-yard pass to Caleb Wynne
on fourth down kept the drive alive.

Antavis Robertson capped things with a five-yard touchdown run. It was all tied with 2:13 left. Robertson got his second on a fourth and goal, scoring from four yards out with 6:10 left in the half to put the Royals on top.

Northeast fumbled on their next possession on their 37. BCHS took advantage, Tije'a Randall capped the drive with a five-yard touchdown run. The Royals went into the half leading 21-7. Wynne would suffer a season'ending leg injury later in the quarter.

Anthony Wright, who had 100 second half rushing yards, got 78 of them om a touchdown run with 10:53 left in the third. Tae Holiday, who had a third quarter interception to stop a Northeast drive, capped all scoring on a five-yard run with 5:00 left in the game.

LaDarrick Vickers had 39 yards rushing.

Bleckley scored season high 35 points as they rolled 35-7. They had a season best 393 rushing yards including 254 in the second half, also a season best. Robertson had 56 yards on 13 carries. Randall had a season best 59 yards on nine carries.

Tae Holiday scores.

Northeast was held to 175 total yards offense. It'll be Senior Night when the Royals host Putnam County November 7. Ceremonies start at 7 pm, kickoff is 7:30 pm.
