Bear Brawl action continued on a dreary Saturday before Christmas. The Royals looked to rebound from a cold shooting opener while the Lady Royals sought a title game appearance.

Spencer Smith connected on this jumper.

Westside Macon was the boys opponent. Bleckley trailed 26-12 after one quarter. The Seminoles opened the second on an 18-1 run. Though Spencer Smith scored with 20 seconds left, it was still 46-19 at halftime.

Kiley Moe scores.

Down 26 going to the fourth, Willie Taylor's bucket with about six minutes left cut the deficit to 23. But BCHS would go on to lose 87-53. Taylor finished with 18. Jeremy Marshall was back and scored 14.

Destiny Pallord grabs a rebound.

The Lady Royals took on Perry for a Bear Brawl title game berth. A 7-0 lead quickly faded as the Lady Panthers got within 8-6. Kiley Moe scored as time expired to make it 12-8. Though scoring just four points in the second, Bleckley was within 21-16 at halftime.

Jahnaria Brown squares up to shoot.

After getting within one in the third, Perry answered with a 9-2 run. The Lady Royals scored six points in the final four minutes en route to a 51-36 loss. Jahnaria Brown had 12 Boys play Monday at 1 pm, girls 4 pm
