As she's done several times this season, Felllisia Young scored the Lady Royals first basket Saturday night.

Saturday was one just two remaining home games for BCHS as they took on Macon County. Teams split the earlier meeting with the Lady Royals and Bulldogs winning.

Jahnaria Brown got fouled on this shot attempt.

Kiley Moe had a three in the final minute to draw Bleckley within four after one. Despite going halfway through the second, it was just 24-19 Lady Dogs at halftime. Eight straight to begin the third gave BCHS their first lead.

Irianna Moss fights for a rebound.

But they would score just four points in the final three minutes and trail 31-30 going to the fourth. The deficit grew to ten in the fourth as BC scored just two points in the first 3:20.

Destiny Pallord had consecutive baskets in the second quarter.

Bleckley could get no closer than six and went on to lose 47-37, their first loss to Macon County in six regular season games. Fellisia Young scored 11.

Willie Taylor scores for the Royals.

Willie Taylor and Marquez Pitts scored six points each as the Royals led 21-18 after one. The Bulldogs opened the second on a 15-4 run and three point shot with three seconds left to lead 42-31 at halftime.

Marquez Pitts had two three point shots in the first quarter.

Down by 15 in the third, Bleckley drew within nine. Macon County closed the quarter on an 11-1 run, capped by a three at the buzzer to lead 57-39. BC would go on to lose 73-55. Pitts had 11. Spencer Smith scored 12.

Markell Marshall scored late in the second for BCHS.

The final regular season non region game is Tuesday at Houston County. JV boys tip at 4:30 pm with varsity to follow.
