Perfect Storm: Travel team has undefeated day in winning first tournament.

Last weekend, the BC Storm had a frustrating end to their tournament day in Cordele. After rallying to take a 5-4 lead versus the Coyotoes in an elimination game, they gave up nine runs in the final inning to lose 13-5.

Saturday they were back at it an Extreme Girls Fastpitch event in Eastman. They jumped out to an 8-2 lead in winning versus the Bandits and staved off a late comeback attempt by the Middle Georgia Bullets in their next game to remain perfect.

After a long delay, Storm took on the Hot Shots for a championship game berth. Down 5-1 after an inning, BC scored eight times with two outs in the second en route to an 11-5 win. It was another long wait for the title game, their opponent the Bombshells.

Four in the first powered Storm to a 7-3 win, an undefeated day, and their first first place trophy. BC will be back in action May 30.
