Pray for Sarabeth: Family asking for prayers as teen prepares for fourth heart surgery.

For Becky Martin, the nervousness she's feeling isn't completely new. Both her children, Sarabeth and Michael, have had numerous health issues despite neither being 14. Sarabeth will be having her fourth heart surgery Tuesday at Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta.

This time though, there's another twist. After both her mistral and aortic vales are replaced, she'll have to remain in the hospital for 10-14 days. Because Sarabeth, at age 13, will be on a blood thinner. The hospital time will be to help her body become adjusted to it.

Sarabeth being on a blood thinner is making Becky extra nervous. But one thing she believes in is prayer. Becky said her family has appreciated all the prayers people have lifted up for her children over the years. She is asking for people to pray now.

Though Becky is nervous, Sarabeth doesn't want to slow down. Becky said Sarabeth had been asking about resuming playing softball. Becky of course was saying no because of the surgery and blood thinners. She said though more than likely Sarabeth would be asking her doctors about playing softball after surgery.

And they would have to tell her "no." Though Sarabeth may be having heart surgery, it certainly sounds like she's got plenty of it.
