Dairy Queen was once again part of Miracle Treat Day. Ten percent of all proceeds and $1 from all Blizzards would go to the Children's Hospital in Macon. One person behind the counter knew firsthand just how important Children's Miracle Network is.

The Rogers (Danette, Dough, Britleigh, and Austin) were amongst those who came to support Miracle Treat Day.

Grason Anderson is the nine-year old son of Michael and Noel Anderson. He's also a "miracle child," meaning he benefits from the services of Children's Miracle Network. Anderson has an immune deficiency. His body doesn't produce white blood cells. For the past eight years, he's gone to Macon to receive treatments every 21 days. Noel said the hospital asked him to help out this week.

She could also testify as to just how important those treatments are explaining that the treatments allowed him to live normally, adding he coded twice during visits. "They saved his life," she said.
