The Lady Royals took a break from region play and traveled to Macon for a game versus First Presbyterian. FPD had won seven straight going in and was a semifinalist in last year's Private School Class A playoffs.

Chelsea Brady's second inning sac fly made it 1-0. Hannah Coulter added an RBI single in the third. Taylor Dykes hit her first home run of this season, a solo shot, in the fifth. She got a pair of strikeouts in the home half to stop a bases loaded, one out, jam.

Bleckley went on to win 3-0. Dykes was 2 for 4 and also struck out six, scattering four hits over seven innings. Hannah Coulter and Jordan Williams were both 1 for 2.
