BCHS opened the 4-AA semifinals at home for a second straight year, hosting fourth seed Crawford County. Hannah Coulter was back in the lineup as the Lady Royals began their quest for back to back region titles. Bleckley beat the Lady Eagles when the two teams played this season.

Aliyah Whithead makes a running catch.

Walks loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the first in game one but BC did not score. After scoring on an error in the second, a two-run double by Aliyah Whitehead followed by Allie Keel's single in the third made it 4-0.

Jordan Williams sets to throw from short.

A solo home run by Taylor Dykes capped all scoring in Bleckley's 5-0 win. Coulter went 2 for 4. Whitehead and Keel both went 1 for 2.

Kalee Kitchens receives the ball at first.

Crawford was home team in game two and claimed an early 1-0 lead. A bases loaded, one out opportunity in the second for the Lady Royals produced no runs. Dykes tripled in the third then came home to score, tying the game. Her fourth inning RBI double put Bleckley on top.

Abbey Simms sets to throw to first.

Hannah Coulter and Kendall Morton had consecutive two-run hits as part of a five-run fifth. Dykes and Morton both doubled in a five-run seventh as the Lady Royals advanced to a second straight region title game, 12-2. Dykes went 4 for 4 with 4 RBI. Coulter was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI. Morton went 2 for 4 with 4 RBI. Jordan Williams went 1 for 2.

Faith Harris stretches to keep her foot on the bag for the force out.

Bleckley awaits the winner of third seed Monticello at second seed Lamar County. Their series was postponed until tomorrow due to rain. Next game details will be announced when known.
