BCMS traveled to Toombs County Monday afternoon. The Lady Barons sought to get back on track. After opening 6-0, they've gone 2-2 in their last four. The Barons looked for their third straight win.

BC built a 14-point lead after one quarter. Though reserves played in the second, the advantage increased to 21-3 at halftime. Shay Nelson scored six points in the final three minutes of the third and Za'Tesa Taylor scored as time expired in a 17-3 third quarter. Bleckley went on to win 45-6.

Down 10-9 after one, Ethan Hulsey hit a pair of three's in scoring nine points as the Barons pulled ahead 22-17. They used an 11-4 third quarter to go up 14. But the BullPups opened on a 10-1 run in the fourth to cut what was a 15-point deficit to five.

BC though would hold on 42-37. Teams will be at home Thursday to take on JR Trippe at 4 pm.
