The Macon Telegraph has been announcing spring sports selections for their annual All Middle Georgia teams over the past week. Nominations came via coaches at schools as well as publicly available information (IE: playoff results.)
Here are the Bleckley County High School athletes to receive All Middle Georgia Honors.
Girls Golf- Honorable mentions Brooke Krieg, Dawson Greer.
Girls Tennis- Samantha Horne, first team selection.
Girls Track- Ellen Powell, Honorable mention in the 800 and 1600 meter run. Kendall Morton- Honorable mention, discus. T'Keyah Pasby, Honorable mention, shot put.
Girls Soccer- Lindsay Thompson, honorable mention.
Boys Track- Austin Cook, Honorable Mention 800 meter run. Anuj Patel- Honorable Mention 800 meter run. Carl Ellis Corley, Runner of the Year, 1600 meter run, honorable mention 3200. Bronson Sanders- Honorable Mention 3200 meter run. Dayton Cannon- Honorable Mention 1600 meter run. Will Simmons- Honorable Mention pole vault.
Note: According to the Telegraph, nominations from Bleckley were received in girls and boys track and girls soccer.
