After a week off, the Royals opened region play at Northeast. It was Homecoming night for the Raiders and Bleckley did little to spoil the evening.

A 35-yard touchdown pass on their first possession put the Raiders up 6-0. They missed a two-point conversion. On their next drive, NE got a fourth and four conversion to keep things going. Backed up to their 25 after a hold on fourth down, a second touchdown pass and two made it 14-0 with still 9:26 left.

BC held the Raiders to three and out and caught a break when the punter dropped the ball on their 14.

Mika Floyd connected with Willie Taylor on a 14-yard touchdown pass with just seconds left. The point after missed but BCHS was within 21-6. However, the Raiders got the ball to begin the second half and returned the opening kickoff 40 yards to Bleckley's 40.

Alan Rogers was amongst several players in on the stop.

They scored on the next play and went up 27-6. BC would try to mount an answer but were stopped on fourth and goal from the Raider four. Aided by a defensive personal foul, Northeast would again drive down the field. It was capped by a 24-yard touchdown run. With 9:35 left in the game, Bleckley trailed 34-6.

Corez Walters rushed for 51 yards.

The Raiders added one more touchdown after Bleckley went for it on fourth down in their own territory and was stopped. BC lost 41-6. They were outgained in total yards 338-96. It will be cancer awareness night when the Royals host Dublin September 30. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.
