Emily Sanders throws from third base.

In last year's season opener at Schley County, the Lady Royals overcame an 8-4 deficit to win. There was no rally Wednesday afternoon.

Caroline Thrower receives the ball at first.

Down 3-0 after two innings, Bailey Odom singled with one out but was erased on a double play. Bleckley had a runner on with less than two outs in each of the first four innings but couldn't score. Three errors in the bottom of the fourth led to four Lady Wildcat runs.

Aliyah Whitehead gets under a ball in centerfield.

BCHS was retired in order in the fifth. Schley got one more in the home half to win 8-0. Odom, Caroline Thrower, and Landa Dominy had the only hits with each going 1 for 2. The Lady Royals play tomorrow at Dublin High School. Game time 5:30 pm.
