Lady Royals sweep season series from Taylor County.

For Breast Cancer Awareness, the players and coaches wore special jerseys that had the name of someone special who had been affected by the disease on the back.


BCHS wrapped up their season series with Taylor County
Wednesday afternoon in Cochran. The Lady Royals won 10-0 in Butler when the teams played in Butler August 28.

Landa Dominy's two-run home run was part of a four-run first. After missing on a bases loaded, two outs opportunity in the third, Emily Sanders third hit of the game with two outs started another four-run inning. The Lady Vikings were retired in order in the fifth as Bleckley won 8-0.

Tori Long tracks down a fly ball.


Sanders finished 3 for 3 with a double. Dominy was 1 for 2. Tori Long went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Jordan Williams was 2 for 3. Bailey Odom went 1 for 2. Riley Edge was cleared to play after a doctor's appointment last week, the cast is off her foot.

The Lady Royals play at Northeast tomorrow at 5:30 pm.
