Get Medieval with second annual Middle Georgia State KnightFest.

The second annual Middle Georgia State KnightFest will be October 3-5. Sponsored by the university library, a variety of medieval-themed activities are scheduled for the Cochran, Macon, and Warner Robins campuses.

Here are the events scheduled for Cochran. All are free and open to the public.

October 3.
3 pm- Dr. Andrew Reeves will present a lecture titles “Shame, Shame, Shame: inspirations for Cersei’s Walk of Shame and Public Penance in Medieval Europe” in Roberts Library room 206. (Media room.)

4 pm- Professor Becca Edwards will be screen and discuss “Femme Fatales in HBO’s Game of Thrones” in Roberts Library room 206. (Media Room.)

October 5.

3 pm- Panel Discussion entitled “Powerful and Powerless Women in Game of Thrones” held in Roberts Library room 206.

4 pm- The Society for Creative Anachronism will hold a combat demonstration on the front lawn of Walker Hall.
