Full weekend of Christmas-themed events December 1 and 2.

If you're in the Christmas spirit and looking for something to do December 1-2, there will be plenty to choose from that weekend. Here are some of the events planned.

December 1:

Pilot Club of Cochran Lite-a-Lite ceremony. The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held on the Chamber of Commerce lawn at 6 pm.

Lighted Christmas Parade. The annual parade featuring a variety of colorful floats will go through the camps of Middle Georgia State University. It begins at Ann Street, will go down Frank Cook Road, then turn right onto College Street, ending at Stuckey Field.

December 2:

Snow tube rides, a Santa Bounce House, and snow globe will be on the Chamber of Commerce Lawn from 10 am-4 pm.

Cornerstone Church of Cochran will hold the Cornerstone Market inside the Arts Alliance building, 113 E Dykes st. Crafts, clothing, food, gift wrapping, jewelry, visit with Santa from 2-4 pm.

Winter Wonderland Express will be back at Heartland EMS, 256 Lucas Road, from 5-8 pm. Ride a train into the world of Christmas, take pictures with fairy tale characters, write letters to Santa and more. Sponsored by Princesses with a Purpose, hosted by Pilot Club of Cochran. Admission $5, children under one free.

Both days:

Cochran Bleckley Chamber of Commerce "Tour of Trees." 4-7 pm December 1, 10 am-4 pm December 2. Christmas trees will be decorated with unique themes. A fundraiser for Cochran Masonic Lodge #217's Secret Santa project, that provides Christmas to local families who might not otherwise have Christmas. Call (478)934-2965 for more information.
