It was an emotional season for the BCHS competition squad. There was the thrill of winning grand champion at the West Laurens Raider Rumble. Stress due to multiple injuries suffered. Disappointment over the performance at region followed by a thrilling third place finish at sectionals. It culminated with a top six finish in the finals, the best since 2008.

Head coach Heather Davis said she saw improvement from everyone on the squad, all showed a desire to get better in some fashion as the season went along. It made deciding some of the awards difficult for her and assistant coach Chara Nobles.
