A busy week for the Lady Royals continued as they hosted Perry Wednesday afternoon. Though a popup storm cancelled JV action, varsity was able to play. Thanks to some two-out magic, BCHS got a big win.

Emily Sanders sets to throw from third.

BCHS stranded five runners in the first three innings. Riley Edge singled to lead off the fourth. She came home on Macey Haley’s two-out single. Edge’s second hit of the inning, an RBI single, was part of a six-run outburst with two outs.

E'Lisia Vickers makes a running catch.

With two on and two out in the sixth, Bailey Odom just missed a home run, doubling into the right field corner. It capped an 8-0 victory. Odom gave up three hits, striking out six, in six innings.

Caroline Thrower receives the ball at first base.

Edge was 3 for 4 with 1 RBI. Emily Sanders went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Bleckley hosts Northeast tomorrow at 5:30 pm.
