Historic BCMS football season celebrated.

Coaches, players, and families gathered in the middle school cafeteria Tuesday night for the postseason awards banquet. For new head coach Ray Hardin, the season couldn’t have gone any better as BCMS won the MGMSAA title for the first time in school history.

During his remarks, he said everyone in the room was a part of their success. Hardin said he wanted to acknowledge everyone as he’d invariably leave someone out while offering specific thank yous. Those thanked included BCMS administrators, booster club officers, as well as his wife Kim.

As it was a championship season, players received T-Shirts as well as rings. Specific team awards were as follows. Barons Award- Dytwon Ates. Best Defensive Player- Tyler Wilcox. Best Offensive Player- Jahvon Butler. Captain’s Award- Eli Mullis, T.J. Mays.

Coach Gary Arnold presented both Captain's Awards, this one going to Eli Mullis.
