The first half of the season wrapped up for BCMS Monday afternoon in Dublin. It was a good day for both teams as each won.

Leading 12-8 at halftime, Trinity Glover’s free throw with seconds left in of the third pushed the lead to nine. Though Dublin would get within five, Lady Baron defense and cold shooting by the Lady Irish kept the game from getting any closer as BC won 24-19.

While the Barons have used lockdown third quarters to blow open games, it was the second quarter where their defense shined. Holding Dublin to four points, Bleckley had a 32-11 halftime lead. They went on to win 61-31. BCMS hosts Jeff Davis January 17 at 4 pm.
