BCMS hosted former region rival Toombs County in a scrimmage game Monday afternoon. Leading the Barons baseball program is former player Dusty Jones, Brantley Collins is the assistant.

Kade Hill sets to throw to first.


Jacob Grant got the team’s first hit in the third inning. An RBI single in the fourth made it 4-0 Toombs. In the sixth, Shane Knighton’s RBI single scored Caleb Senters. The BullPups though would add another in the seventh in winning 5-1. Grant, Senters, and Knighton accounted for BC’s only three hits.

Dawson Chapman gets under a pop fly.


Regular season play begins February 18 at home against Swainsboro. Start time is 4 pm.
