Information about upcoming BCHS, BCMS cheer tryouts.

Tryout time will be coming up soon for both Bleckley County High School and Bleckley County Middle school cheerleading. BCHS will hold tryouts for 2019-20 competition and football game squad April 15-19. Competition tryout dates are April 15-17, football game that Thursday and Friday. Minimum tumbling requirements for competition squad is a back handspring.

Times are from 3:30-5 pm and will be held in the middle school gym. Information packets can be obtained from the high school media center or from head coach Heather Davis at BCMS. Email hdavis@bleckley.k12.ga.us for more information.

BCMS will hold competition and football/basketball squad tryouts the following week, April 22-26 at the middle school gym. Competition tryouts will be April 22-24. Times 3:30 to 5 pm that Monday and Tuesday and starting at 3:30 pm that Wednesday. Minimum tumbling requirements for competition is a back handspring.

Game squad tryouts will be April 25 and 26, 3:30 to 5 pm on Thursday, starting at 3:30 on Friday. Required attire for all middle school applicants is a Barons/Bleckley County T-Shirt, black shorts, and tennis shoes. A bow is optional but encouraged. Information packets must be turned in to head coach Elizabeth Brown by April 18 at 3 pm. Email her, ebrown@bleckley.k12.ga.us for more information.

Reminder, applicants trying out for any athletic team must have an updated physical on file in the school office.
