SLOTS is a time for officers to work together to plan for the coming year pinpointing goals, advancements, expansions, recruitment and the like. Focus of the officers was to identify areas of service, education, leadership and progress that they wanted to focus on in the coming year.

FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is an integral part of the business program and pathway at BCHS. Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. It’s brought to life through the application of our motto: Service, Education, and Progress.

Students in FBLA have many opportunities to find their talents and gifts and use them for the betterment of their future and career plans. They also have the chance to attend many leadership conferences and competitions throughout the year. As the students move beyond state and head to national level competition, they have opportunities to travel, meet people from around the world, network with a variety of fellow students, and take their competitive spirits to a whole new level!

We are hoping to grow our membership this year and will have a table set up in the commons area at visitation July 29. FBLA is open to all students interested in business, you don’t have to be in the business pathway to be a member. Come join us for the many adventures planned this coming year!
