A threat of rain and 80-degree temperatures made it feel more like spring than fall Saturday. However, there was a lot of fall festival fun around the county. Union Hill Baptist Church moved their activities indoors due to the rain threat.

Still, they enjoyed things like a hot dog meal, pumpkin decorating contest, and a cake walk. Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church had inflatables, a bounce house, trunk or treat, plus a health ministry.

Games and a trackless train were some of the fun things at Salem Baptist Church’s fall festival. Several other churches will be having fall festivals tomorrow including Limestone Baptist Church who postponed theirs from Saturday due to the threat of rain.
