Offenses struggle in split with Dodge County.

With the regular season winding down, all games become more critical for region tournament playoff seeding. Both the Lady Barons and Barons sought to take the next step in getting top seeds against Dodge County Monday afternoon.

The Lady Barons had a 19-5 halftime lead but were outscored 12-2 in the third. Kristeria Stanley broke an almost 10-minute drought without a basket in the fourth. BC would hold on to win 31-24.

A 9-4 second quarter put the Barons up 20-19 at halftime. Dodge would respond, going up by 12 in the third. Iverson Baker’s three-point play in the final seconds cut the deficit to eight. Though BCMS drew within 36-32 with over four minutes left in the fourth, the Warriors closed 10-3 to win 46-35.
