The Tessie W. Norris/Cochran-Bleckley Library, along with all branches of the Ocmulgee Regional Library System, has suspended operations until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s according to a release issued by ORLS.
Services including RB Digital, E-Read Kids and GALILEO are available online. You can find a list of available services by going to http://orls.org/wordpress/branches/bleckley-county-library/ A digital library card can be obtained by emailing library@orls.org
Though book drops are open, patrons are asked to hold on to all books until the library reopens. Due dates for all materials are suspended and no late fees will be accrued while the library is closed.
The release also states staff will be working to clean and disinfect all libraries and look forward to reopening as soon as possible.
