Christmas events and services at local churches. ***Updated December 15***

While COVID-19 has greatly reduced the number of church Christmas activities, a few will still be holding special events as well as Christmas Eve services. Please email BleckleyProgress@aol.com to add your church’s info to the list.

December 19-21: “Drive Through Bethlehem,” at Bethany Baptist Church from 7-9 pm. Re-enactment of the night Jesus was born. Cast will include live animals, Roman soldiers, blacksmiths, shopkeepers and crafts people.

December 21- Salem Baptist Church Candlelight Christmas service featuring skit done by children and youth, 6 pm.

December 23- First Baptist Church outdoor Christmas service. 7 pm, in the grassy area behind the Whipple House.

December 24- Cochran First United Methodist Church Drive-Through Communion Service. Enter via Third Street between the playground and parsonage (across from the Peanut Museum Pavilion), served behind the church.
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Christmas Eve candlelight communion service, 5 pm.
Bethany Baptist Church candlelight communion service, 5 pm.
House of Grace candlelight service, 6 pm.

December 25- Cornerstone Church of Cochran candlelight communion service, 10 am.
