Amiya Roberts was fouled on this shot.

It was supposed to be the first of two straight road games before Christmas break for BCMS Monday afternoon at Dodge County. While the Lady Barons faltered down the stretch, the Barons held off the Warriors.

Presley DuBois made the basket and got fouled.

Dodge closed out the first half 9-3 to go up 11. Though Lyric Stephens drained a jumper to end the third, BC trailed 35-20. After drawing within 11 to begin the fourth, DC finished the game on a 15-4 run to win 50-28.

Trevon Harris hit a free throw late in the fourth that helped seal the game.

A buzzer-beating layup drew the Warriors within 17-10 at halftime. BC was up by two going to the fourth and used a quick spurt to go up six. Dodge though would get within two points in the final minute.

Tyreck Mack hit a free throw late in the fourth after missing two consecutive one if ones.

The Barons though hit two free throws and used defense to prevent DC from getting a clean shot until seconds remained to win 34-30. Thursday's game at J.R. Trippe has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues there. BCMS returns to the court January 7 at West Laurens.
