A Twiggs player contests Ethan Hulsey's shot.

The Royals have struggled to score this season. Going to Saturday’s game at Twiggs County, BC’s season high in points was 48 in a loss at Trinity Christian. The last two games were outputs of 30 and 34 points, both losses.

Amad Jenkins gets a rebound.

For the Twiggs game, BC made some changes. They switched to a press defense and up tempo offense. While one game is a small sample size, the early results look promising. Leading 22-17 after one quarter, three-point shots from Shon Jenkins and DJ Sanders heled stake the Royals to a 43-29 halftime advantage.

Kaland Butler made this difficult-looking shot.

Leading 66-48 going into the fourth, the offense slowed some in the fourth. Bleckley though would score a season-high 76 points in winning 76-62. It was also the most scored under head coach Garrett Collins.

DJ Sanders got fouled on this shot.

Jenkins finished with a career best 28 points, 22 coming in the first half. He hit five first half three point shots. Sanders had 14 points. Kaland Butler added 11 points. Both teams will be in action at home January 5 versus Lamar County. Varsity tip time is 6 pm.
