Cochran Motor Speedway announced that former NASCAR Cup Series champion Brad Keslowski will be in action on the first night of the “Gobbler 100” held this weekend. Keslowski will be competing in the Crate Late Model Race held Friday night.
The Gobbler 100 was previously scheduled for fall, but postponed due to rain. Other divisions competing this weekend include Super Late Model, 602 Late Models, and Bombers.
According to a release, Keslowski’s reason for entering is to gain experience before the Cup Series event on March 28 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Pit gates open at noon Friday, Grandstands at 3 pm. Hot laps start at 6.
Pit gates will again open at noon Saturday with the grandstands opening for spectators at 2 pm. Hot laps are scheduled to start at 5:30. For more information, visit cochranspeedway.com.
