When BCHS traveled to Swainsboro almost two weeks ago, they run-ruled the Tigers. Wednesday’s rematch in Cochran was a much closer affair but the Royals found a way to win.

Brody Little’s two-run home run in the first erased an early deficit. Swainsboro tied the score in the third on a wild pitch. Ethan Hulsey broke the tie on a two-out, two-run triple in the fourth.

Brody Little would make this off-balance catch.

Pitching in relief, Carter Brannon walked runners in both the sixth and seventh but worked out of the jam each time to preserve BC’s 4-2 win. Eli Mullis went five innings, giving up two hits, one walk, and struck out six.

Carter Brannon fielded the game's final out, a tap back to the mond.

Conner Senters went for 2 for 3. BCHS hosts Monticello Friday at 5:45 pm.
