Like other teams, Lady Royals basketball was affected by COVID-19. No summer scrimmages which prevented many young players from getting experience. Quarantine issues only allowed for two JV games. Safety concerns caused region members to vote not have a postseason tournament.

That hurt what was a streaking BCHS team who closed the season winning 8 of 10 games after opening the year 1-8. At Wednesday night’s awards ceremony, head coach Jenny Manning expressed hope things could return the normal for next season.

Manning though, wanted to ensure her players were recognized for their efforts and the way they handled what was a difficult season. After letter certificates, the following awards were handed out. JV Award- Kristeria Stanley.
