Vacation Bible School returning this summer.

One of the many summer traditions lost last year due to COVID-19 was Vacation Bible School. While some churches had resumed in-person worship during the summer, safety precautions and gathering restrictions prevented VBS from taking place.
As things are slowly returning to pre-pandemic conditions this year, Vacation Bible Schools are back. Here is a current listing of churches holding VBS this summer. Add your church’s listing by emailing BleckleyProgress@aol.com or bleckleyprogress@gmail.com
May 31-June 4: Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. “Discover on Adventure Island.” 6-8:30 pm. Dinner provided. Register by going to

June 6-9: Limestone Baptist Church. “Press Play.” Kickoff at the Limestone softball field (hot dogs, slide, games, meet your children’s teachers) June 6 at 6 pm. Classes June 7-9, 5:30 to 8 pm. Dinner served at 5:30.
