It’s been said hitting as well as lack of hitting is contagious. This season, the Lady Royals have been no-hit as well as held to two hits in their first four games. Those struggles continued Monday afternoon versus Wilcox County.

Elisia Vickers’ RBI groundout in the third tied the score at 1. BC wouldn’t have another baserunner until the sixth inning. The Lady Patriots got two in the fourth, and a run via an error in the sixth. A one-out single by Rebecca Bowling (the fifth hit for Bleckley) and leadoff walk to Darci Dillard in the seventh produced no runs.
