In some circle October 30 is known as “Devil’s Night.” However, it was a busy night before Halloween for many who were out and about collecting treats.

Lakeview Baptist Church held a “Drive Thru The Bible” trunk or treat. As cars drove though around the church, members told different Bible stories while handing out candy.

For the second straight year, first responders held a trunk or treat behind the police station. Cochran Police, Bleckley County Sheriff[‘s Office, Cochran Fire, Bleckley County Fire Department, as well as Heartland EMS participated.

The Cochran Fire Department mascot Sparky was at the city trunk or treat.

Of course many took to the street to visit houses. All in all, many children got their fil of treats, and many parents had to deal with the subsequent sugar rush.

Eric and Staci Bisher have been handing out candy to visitors for years.
