Region play continued Friday night as BCHS hosted Northeast. It was a tough night for both teams.

The Lady Royals trailed 35-19 at halftime. A deficit that was as big as 23 in the third was down to 13 by the fourth quarter. Kiara Gilbert’s three with under three minutes left cut the deficit to six. The Raiderettes though closed the game 10-4 to win 62-50.

Gilbert had 10 points. Jalexia Taylor scored 18 points. BC was 4 of 11 from the free throw line.

The Royals had just four first quarter points and trailed 51-12 at halftime. In a game that saw BC trail by over 50 points, they went on to lose 79-31/ Kam Everett had seven points.
