Royals hold off Eagles for eighth straight win.

It was the start of another busy week for BCHS as they welcomed Crawford County to Cochran. A good offensive night and just enough pitching propelled the Royals to an eighth straight win.

JR Fordham tags out a runner going to first.

A pair of three-run innings and two in the fourth staked BC to an 8-0 lead. The Eagles though scored six in the fifth to draw within two. Bleckley though answered with two in the home half and a run on a double steal in the sixth.

J'Shun Height was safe at third.

Matthew Bland pitched the final 1.2 innings, giving up just one walk with five strikeouts, to preserve the Royals 11-6 win. He was also a perfect 4 for 4 with 4 RBI. Caleb Senters went 3 for 3 with a double and 1 RBI. Cade (Buck) Hill went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI.
