About this weekend, decisions have to be made.

For those of you who aren't aware, I view Sunday as a day of rest. 99.9 percent of the time, you won't see me out and about. I use the day for rest, mental health, catch up on things I need to do at home, etc.

The only getting out I do is a brief, late-night ride down the road just to get out for 10 minutes. Having one day of the week where I'm not in a hurry, don't have to worry about content for the site or Twitter helps me function the rest of the week.

That's going to change this weekend though. I'm very aware that the opening of the new primary school is a big deal. So despite my dislike of working on Sundays, my current plan is to cover the opening then the prayer walk at 6.

Because of that, it's going to mean something gets cut from my coverage plans this weekend. Either I don't go to Dublin Friday to cover the world series opening ceremonies, or I don't try to be in Cochran Saturday morning for world series games and the Dre Day Foundation Back to School Summit.

Being honest, it'd be easier on me to go Friday night, and use Saturday to do some of the things I'd normally do on Sunday around the house. I'm not saying it's my final decision, but I'm leaning that way.

Obviously, this isn't a fun decision for me to make either way. And I'm sorry to have to do it. But physically, I have to at least somewhat look out for me. With the website being a one-man show, I don't have much choice but to make this decision.

If you're moved by this and want to volunteer to take pictures Sunday, I'd be grateful for the help. But this article isn't in any way an attempt to solicit help. It's just me trying to explain that sometimes I have to make tough decisions but there's no malice behind them.

Please know I continue to try to make this site the best online community newspaper it can be and Bleckley Progress be the place that is indeed "Where to go when you need to know."

Thanks for your continued readership and support.
